1. What these terms cover
They govern your use of Roadkit, at roadkit.org and anything served from it. Creating an account means accepting them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it.
2. What the service is
Roadkit turns a project schedule into a presentation. You import a spreadsheet or build a roadmap in the browser, and export it as PowerPoint, PDF, PNG or SVG, or share it as a read-only link. What each plan includes is listed on the pricing section and enforced in the product.
3. Your account
- Give a real email address. It is how we reach you about your subscription.
- Keep your password to yourself. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you, so tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
- If you invite colleagues into your workspace, you are responsible for what they do in it, and for removing them when they leave.
- One person per account. Accounts are not to be shared to avoid buying a seat.
4. Plans, price and payment
- Prices are in euros and include VAT. The figure shown next to a plan is the figure charged; nothing is added at checkout. Paid plans start at €9 a year.
- Payment is taken by Stripe. A subscription renews automatically for the same period until it is cancelled.
- Extra members beyond a plan's allowance are billed as seats, charged pro rata for the remainder of the current period when you add them.
- You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves your plan running until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries it. If it keeps failing, the workspace returns to the free plan. Your roadmaps are not deleted, but the free plan's limits apply again.
- If we change a price, we will tell you at least 30 days beforehand and the new price applies from your next renewal, never mid-period.
5. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because a subscription gives you the full service immediately, starting one is a request for immediate performance, and the right of withdrawal does not survive the service being delivered.
In practice we would rather not keep money someone does not want to have spent: write to [email protected] within 14 days of a first payment and we will refund it, provided no export has been produced on the paid plan.
6. Your content
Your roadmaps, and anything you import into them, remain yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service: to store that content, render it, and produce the files you ask for. We do not use it for anything else, we do not train models on it, and we do not show it to anyone you have not shared it with.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, and for not putting anything unlawful into it. If you export a roadmap, that file is yours to do with as you like.
7. Share links
A share link is readable by anyone who has the URL, with no sign-in. It is a convenience, not an access control, so do not put anything confidential behind one unless you have set a password on it. You can revoke a link at any time.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not use Roadkit for anything illegal, or to store content you have no right to.
- Do not attempt to reach another workspace's data, defeat plan limits, or probe the service for weaknesses without asking us first. Responsible reports are welcome at [email protected].
- Do not automate the export endpoints beyond ordinary use. They are rate limited, and sustained abuse is grounds for suspension.
- Do not resell the service or offer it as your own.
9. Availability
We aim to keep Roadkit running and to keep it quick, but these plans carry no service level agreement and no uptime guarantee. We may take it offline for maintenance, and will avoid working hours where we can. Features can change; anything that would remove capability you are paying for will be announced beforehand.
10. Support
By email, at [email protected], answered by a person within one working day. The contact form reaches the same place.
11. Ending the agreement
- You can stop at any time: cancel the subscription, or ask us to delete the account outright. Export whatever you want to keep first.
- We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or leaves an invoice unpaid. Except where the breach is serious enough to require acting immediately, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.
- After an account is closed, its data is deleted within 30 days, other than records we are legally required to keep. See the privacy policy.
12. Liability
Roadkit produces presentation files from data you provide. It is not a scheduling authority and it does not verify that a plan is correct - check the deck before you present it.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost business. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded, including in cases of fraud or gross negligence, and if you are a consumer your statutory rights are unaffected.
13. Changes to these terms
We will post the new version here and, for anything that materially affects you, email you at least 30 days beforehand. Continuing to use Roadkit after that means accepting the new version; if you would rather not, cancel and we will refund the unused part of the period.
14. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim in the courts of your own country of residence, and you may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
